Great Rock
Ornithologist Quest: Another quest involves Arinas' brother Ignatius, who is an ornithologist (He likes birds). He hangs out in an observatory in the middle of Lake Vundamere on an island. He has a book about spiders. You can either kill ignatius to get it or do it this way:
Find a carp in Lake Vundamere. Kill it.
Give the corpse of the carp to the red crane. It jumps in your inventory.
Give the crane to ignatius and he'll give you the book.
Give the book to Arinas in the great rock.
Just pray that Arinas is alive because he's almost always dead!
Note: giving Ignatius the dead crane will not work. However, if you are so inclined to make mischief, do it for a nice little reaction on his part. It's similar to giving the sad little girl in jaru the corpse of patches the kitten.
Maiden Quest: Greet Lotash; he will give you the Chalice of Beasts, which you give to Bearnath in the Great Rock. Bearnath summons the Beastmaster with the Chalice. Kill the Beastmaster and get the key he drops when he dies. Give the key to Kasha in the Rock, who will begin to follow you. Return Kasha to Lotash.
